Hope for Hypothalamic Hamartomas (Hope for HH) is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization aimed at driving education, support, and research for hypothalamic hamartomas. The organization is dedicated to the early detection, improved treatments, and management of hypothalamic hamartomas as a complex medical syndrome with the ultimate goal of finding a cure.
The HH Research Grant is designed for established, experienced, and independent investigators affiliated with a research or academic institution. The grant supports projects that investigate hypotheses directly related to hypothalamic hamartoma syndrome. Proposals are evaluated based on the quality of preliminary data, research design, feasibility, the qualifications of the investigator, and the potential impact of the project. Applicants are encouraged to ensure their proposed projects align with the needs of the hypothalamic hamartoma community and Hope for HH's mission towards understanding the syndrome better, improving treatments, and finding a cure.
