The Medica Foundation aims to support the unique health needs of individual communities by funding projects that benefit local communities, improve the availability, access to, and quality of healthcare, and achieve success through measurable outcomes.
The Medica Foundation's grant program focuses on early intervention programs for children from birth through age 12, with a particular emphasis on advancing health equity for underrepresented communities including BIPOC, immigrants, refugees, individuals experiencing homelessness, those in rural areas, LGBTQ+ individuals, and youth in or aging out of foster care. The program prioritizes proposals addressing abuse prevention, culturally-focused care, early childhood health workforce, maternal health and birth equity, oral health, parenting skills, primary care, immunizations, and social-emotional learning.
