Direct Response Good Practice Grants are designed by the Ottumwa Regional Legacy Foundation to assist nonprofits in making significant advancements in their management, governance, and overall organizational capacity with grants of up to $5,000. The primary goal is to bolster these entities in capacity building endeavors across a wide range of operational areas including strategic planning, financial management, evaluation planning, communications and marketing, resource development and fundraising, human resources, information systems management, board development, and fostering cooperation with other nonprofits for enhanced service delivery. This comprehensive grant support aims to equip nonprofits with the tools and resources necessary for effective and efficient operation, directly impacting their ability to serve their respective communities better.
