The grant program focuses on strengthening local nonprofits and solving community problems through grants and training. In 2021, more than $480,000 was administered in community grants and contracts. Key areas for grantmaking, aligning with their 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, include Education, Non-Profit Capacity Building, Youth Philanthropy, Human Services, MYPath Trail System, Attracting and Retaining "Rising Generations," and potentially other areas like quality of place, arts & culture, and more. Grants aim to support community wellness, economic development, transportation, and innovation among other focus areas. The program also offers a Rapid Response Grant of up to $1,000 for non-profits in immediate need, with no application deadline, covering operational support, emergency equipment, or completing projects.
