Overview

The Change Ripley County Grant, an initiative of the Ripley County Community Foundation and established by Ripley Youth Outreach, is designed to empower local youth, ages 13 to 23, by providing a platform for them to be heard, boost their confidence in initiating community changes, and offer resources to implement those changes. The grant promotes partnerships between youth and local nonprofit organizations to foster positive changes in Ripley County. This biannual grant is offered in amounts of up to $10,000.

Individuals
Groups seeking to defray travel or lodging expenses for seminars or trips
Programs exclusively for endowment purposes
Programs completed and funded prior to the foundation’s grant decision date
Repayment of acquisition costs for equipment already purchased
Acquisition of weapons, firearms, or destructive devices
Sectarian religious purposes (exceptions for general community programs or to preserve historical sites)
Purchase of property or buildings
Attempts to influence legislation or intervene in any political campaign.
