Overview

The Community Response Fund, hosted by Park City Community Foundation, is designed to provide immediate and flexible resources to organizations in the greater Park City area addressing the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic consequences. The grant supports health and human services nonprofits aiding those disproportionately affected by COVID-19. The focus is on organizations that help residents without health insurance/access to sick days, people with limited English proficiency, healthcare and gig economy workers, and communities of color. The fund aims at increasing community resiliency by addressing economic impacts of reduced/lost work due to the outbreak and immediate needs caused by COVID-19 related closures. There is no formal application process for the fund; instead, potential grantees are encouraged to contact the foundation directly to express needs, which are considered on a rolling basis to provide timely assistance. The goal is to support long-term recovery and ensure basic needs like food, housing, and healthcare are met, promoting a healthier, more prepared community.
