To encourage the shared prosperity of all Pennsylvanians by supporting good stewardship and sustainable development initiatives across our commonwealth.
The Watershed Restoration and Protection Program (WRPP) seeks to fund projects that involve construction, improvement, expansion, repair, maintenance, or rehabilitation of new or existing watershed protection Best Management Practices (BMPs). These projects are designed to address the uncontrolled discharge of nonpoint source polluted runoff, focusing on restoring stream reaches that have been impaired by such pollution and maintaining these restored conditions to promote environmental health and sustainability.
