The Roger I. and Ruth B. MacFarlane Foundation supports organizations working to increase opportunities and improve the quality of life for individuals and communities. It aims to be a catalyst, enhancing the impact and expanding the reach of organizations and their programs.
The MacFarlane Foundation's grant program aims to support a diverse range of charitable organizations worldwide by providing financial contributions that impact change. While the foundation accepts applications by invitation only, it considers unsolicited letters of inquiry through an annual review. Its grants, ranging from $10,000 to $75,000, support programmatic and/or operating needs, including one-time capital improvements. Grants are awarded for no more than one year at a time, with organizations welcome to submit proposals in subsequent years. The application process includes a proposal due in April, with funding decisions made in June.
