The foundation aims to strengthen neighborhoods by funding organizations that are committed to addressing hunger, supporting youth and education, and improving health and nutrition. These organizations must serve communities within the foundation's operational areas.
The grant program supports nonprofit organizations whose missions align with the foundation's priority areas: hunger, youth and education, and health and nutrition. Specifically, the foundation seeks to fund initiatives that have a direct impact on the communities where they operate. They are open to working with both existing and new partners who can help achieve their objectives. Grants are offered across a limited geographical area as determined by local Public Affairs Staff, with funding amounts varying by region.
Advice for Enhancing Your Application: Secure an Employee Sponsor
During the submission process via our online form, you'll encounter a section inquiring about your connection with a sponsor within our organization, at which point you can mention their name. This allows us to reach out to the mentioned individual to gather additional insights about your endeavor, which is a critical step before we proceed with evaluating your application. Typically, sponsors are individuals directly involved with your organization, such as volunteers, board members, or beneficiaries of your services. If your organization does not have a direct connection with someone internally, we advise initiating a conversation with the Store Manager in your vicinity to discuss the possibility of their sponsorship.
