Type of Support

Overview

The United Airlines Trust Fund Grant focuses on supporting scholarships and community projects in Siouxland. Two-thirds of the Fund's annual net income is dedicated to scholarships, while the remaining one-third supports community grants. These grants are for projects that enhance social services, crisis planning, health care, public safety education, and training for public personnel in response to community crises or disasters. Additionally, the grants aim to foster the development of civic organizations and public officials who play critical roles in crisis management. Grant amounts generally do not exceed $2,500, with the Foundation prioritizing proposals based on their impact, need, and the potential to benefit a large number of people. Recipients must agree to the Grant Recipient Agreement and submit a final report on the grant's use and outcomes.
