Toledo Community Foundation, Inc. aims to enrich the quality of life for individuals and families in its service area through a community-driven charitable organization, addressing a broad range of needs and preferences.

Type of Support

Overview

The Community Builder Grants program emphasizes supporting projects that:

  • Create safe, positive environments for living.
  • Enable families to develop the skills and resources necessary to support and nurture each other.
  • Foster the development of responsible young individuals to reach their fullest potential. Grants are available for:
  1. Seed money for new, innovative programs addressing community needs.
  2. Expansion of successful programs to reach new audiences.
  3. Capacity building for existing nonprofit organizations. Grants can be up to $25,000 and are aimed at a variety of services in multiple fields.

Sectarian activities of religious organizations
Efforts to conduct a needs assessment.
