Overview

The Community Builder Grants program emphasizes supporting projects that:

  • Create safe, positive environments for living.
  • Enable families to develop the skills and resources necessary to support and nurture each other.
  • Foster the development of responsible young individuals to reach their fullest potential. Grants are available for:
  1. Seed money for new, innovative programs addressing community needs.
  2. Expansion of successful programs to reach new audiences.
  3. Capacity building for existing nonprofit organizations. Grants can be up to $25,000 and are aimed at a variety of services in multiple fields.

Organizations seeking to support their general operating budgets or budget deficits
Those running annual campaigns
Capital campaigns or building projects
Requests to exclusively purchase equipment like computer hardware/software, phones, motor vehicles, etc.
Projects aiming to produce films, videos, television programs, and similar content
Sectarian activities of religious organizations
Efforts to conduct a needs assessment.
