Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia, Inc. (TMMWV) Grant

From Toyota

At Toyota, we believe an auto company can also be a vehicle for change. Toyota partners with nonprofit organizations in the U.S., focusing on improving the communities where we live and work. Our mission encapsulates support for education (with a priority on STEM), inclusive mobility, and community resilience, particularly in environmental sustainability and safety.

Type of Support

Overview

Toyota's grant program is primarily focused on supporting initiatives that fall within three main areas: Education, with a particular emphasis on STEM programs to help develop the future workforce; Inclusive Mobility, aimed at creating solutions that connect people to opportunities; and Community Resilience, which focuses on environmental sustainability and safety measures for drivers and passengers. The program also considers projects in Health and Human Services, Arts and Culture, and Civic and Community as secondary priorities. The grants are aimed at projects that benefit a large number of people, support local education, have clear and measurable goals, include mechanisms for evaluation and reporting, offer leadership development, target youth, and come with contributions from other funding sources.
