The NIH Neuroscience Development for Advancing the Careers of a Diverse Research Workforce (R25) program focuses on fostering the development of neuroscience researchers from diverse backgrounds, including those from underrepresented groups at various career stages. The grant supports innovative mentoring and professional development activities in the areas of the NINDS and/or NIMH. It aims to improve retention of underrepresented graduate students, postdoctoral trainees, and junior faculty in neuroscience research by focusing on mentoring, scientific networks, professional development, and enhancing institutional environments for inclusion.
