The Pathway to Independence Award in Tobacco Regulatory Research (K99/R00) aims to foster the development and sustainability of a pool of talented new investigators proficient in conducting research that will aid in the crafting and assessment of regulations about the manufacture, distribution, and marketing of tobacco products. The program supports the seamless progression of postdoctoral researchers, who possess a research and/or clinical doctorate degree, from mentored positions to roles of independence in academia, ensuring they contribute effectively to the tobacco regulatory research field.
