The purpose of this grant is to fund new and renewal applications for the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Consortia (RDCRC) which are part of the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Network (RDCRN). The grant focuses on advancing and improving diagnosis, management, and treatment of various rare diseases. This includes promoting collaborative, multi-site, patient-centric research that is translational and clinical in nature. A specific emphasis is on the early and timely identification of individuals with rare diseases and preparing for clinical trials.
