The goal is to finance projects that can include but are not limited to, the acquisition, construction, or improvement of infrastructure like drinking water systems, sewer systems, solid waste sites, and storm water management systems. Additionally, funds can support activities related to project completion such as legal and engineering fees, land acquisition, initial operations maintenance, and necessary permits and equipment. This approach aims to ensure rural communities have the essential services needed to maintain public health and environmental quality.
