Vector is committed to serving its community by allocating 10% of its profits each year to fund grants through the Vector Wealth Strategies Community Impact Fund, established with the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville in 2015. Its mission focuses on supporting local non-profits in education, health and human services, and disaster recovery, aiming to impact the community through investments and involvement.
The Community Impact Fund's broad goals involve supporting local non-profits in several critical areas: education, health services, human services, and disaster recovery. The fund's primary objective is to help people and inspire others to do the same, focusing on making investments in the lives of people encountered daily. This grant program is designed to encourage involvement and support in key segments that affect the wellbeing and recovery of the community.
Our funding approach is rooted in grassroots engagement, emphasizing the importance of applications being submitted by volunteers who provide insights into their personal commitment and contributions, both physically and financially, to their organizations. We are inclined towards providing matching or challenge grants, designed to encourage wider community participation as a prerequisite for receiving full funding. While we have a preference for supporting nonprofit organizations within Madison County, our support is not exclusively restricted to this area.
