Overview

Cultural Collaborations Project Grants support high-quality arts and cultural programs for youth in Alaska, focusing on skill acquisition and direct participation outside of the traditional school environment. The grants, with maximum awards of up to $6,000, encourage nonprofit organizations, schools, or school districts to provide arts education projects that offer regular sessions over an extended period. Additionally, these grants promote partnerships and are made possible with support from Rasmuson Foundation.

  • Programs must provide regularly scheduled sessions over an extended period outside regular school day/year
  • Funds for direct costs of the project (artist fees, supplies, rehearsal space, facility rent, etc.)

Ineligibility

Groups ineligible to apply for a grant: Programs using funds to replace existing program resources
Programs paying instructor salaries
Programs intended for re-granting purposes
Those offering scholarships or tuition assistance
Programs offering prizes or awards
Fundraising or benefit activity organizers.
