At Albuquerque Community Foundation, we manage a permanent community endowment sourced from various gifts to support the greater Albuquerque area. Our mission focuses on enhancing all community well-being dimensions, partnering with donors, funders, leadership groups, and nonprofits. We aim to foster a vibrant future through grants to nonprofit organizations and educational institutions, concentrating on animal welfare, arts & culture, economic & workforce development, education, environmental & historic preservation, health, and human services.
The Need to Know Grants by Albuquerque Community Foundation offer nonprofits the flexibility to submit grant requests on a rolling basis throughout the year for new programs or continuous funding needs. Organizations that were not selected in the Annual Grant Cycle can have their requests considered as Need to Know grants. While grants might vary, the foundation suggests requests be in the $5,000 to $10,000 range. This grant program aims to maintain open, continuous communication with nonprofits to stay informed of their evolving needs and opportunities.
