Overview

The Kokua Giving Program, funded by Alexander & Baldwin, aims to improve the quality of life in communities where its companies operate and its employees reside, primarily in Hawaii. The grant supports organizations and projects that address significant community needs, have a nexus to A&B's business activities and/or employees, and have proven community support. The program supports Hawaii charities in health & human services, education, community, culture & the arts, and environmental & land stewardship. It considers support for startup, general operating and special project needs, as well as major and minor capital requests. Generally, an organization may only submit one application per calendar year.
