The Black Fund at the Austin Community Foundation aims to empower Black-led organizations in Central Texas, advocating for equitable, just treatment and fostering the growth, economic security, and well-being of Black people. By leveraging data and community input, their mission encompasses the ambition for societal equity and nurturing the potential and prosperity of the Black community.

Overview

The grant program targets organizations and programs within strategic areas to support women and children's economic security and address the racial wealth and health divide. The strategic areas include Housing, Child Care, Education, Unintended Pregnancy Prevention, and Women's Health. Funding aims to support access to affordable housing, expand access to quality child care, provide support for educational pursuits, increase access to pregnancy prevention resources, and reduce health disparities for women of color.
