For over 80 years, the Moody Foundation has committed to bettering communities throughout Texas. This family-led mission supports projects and programs that inspire within the arts, education, environment, health, and social services sectors, aiming to fuel positive change and improve the lives of the people in Texas.
The Moody Foundation grant program focuses on enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Texas by supporting causes in the arts, humanities, religion, community and social service sectors, education, and health and science. They accept inquiry letters year-round, with trustees meeting quarterly to decide on grant awards. While the grant process can take up to six months, they primarily award grants for one-year periods, with occasional exceptions for multi-year funding. This approach reflects the Foundation's broad goals to foster community betterment and support diverse initiatives that align with their mission.
