The Biogen General Grants program provides funding to support projects or programs that do not fit into any of the company's other defined grant categories. The broad goals of this grant program are to enable progress and innovation in areas that are aligned with Biogen’s interests but outside their usual grant categories. Specifically, Biogen considers requests in the fields of Biosimilars, focusing on Ophthalmology and Immunology, as well as in Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Applicants are encouraged to submit their requests during the submission cycle in the quarter prior to when a funding decision is needed.
