Community Based Organizations: Arts Access Grant

From Delaware Division of the Arts

The Delaware Division of the Arts is a state agency committed to supporting the arts and cultivating creativity to enhance the quality of life in Delaware.

Type of Support

Overview

The Community Based Program Grants and Arts Access (ACC) Grants focus on supporting nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and government entities that engage in arts projects but do not primarily focus on arts in their mission. These grants aim to bring arts to communities throughout Delaware, particularly through small budget projects that may include a wide range of arts forms such as performing, visual, literary, media, or folk arts. The grants prioritize projects that offer high-quality artistic experiences to the public, encourage community and civic group collaborations, reach underserved audiences, provide lifelong learning outside of school settings, support the creation of new artworks, utilize non-traditional venues for arts programs, and celebrate the unique history, culture, or circumstances of communities. Furthermore, these projects aim to conserve, document, and appreciate the artistic traditions of diverse cultures and communities.
