The Community Grants Program by The Denver Foundation aims to support nonprofit organizations and collaborations within the seven-county Metro Denver area that share their core values of constituent engagement and racial equity. The program places a priority on funding areas such as economic opportunity (including community wealth-building and workforce development), education with a focus on K-12 in-school reforms emphasizing racial equity and school funding, environmental efforts (like energy efficiency, renewable energy, and air quality improvements), housing and homelessness (affordable housing and homelessness solutions), and transportation (improving public transit accessibility and affordability).
