The Kayla Foundation's grant program is designed to equalize access to quality music education for school-age children in the Fort Collins, Colorado area, supporting the belief that music programs should be thriving centers of learning and cultural performance. Specific causes include assisting lower-income or special needs students to afford uniforms, musical supplies, large instrument rental fees, or travel expenses for significant music events. It also aims to enhance music education quality for all students through the provision of teaching tools, subscription services, sheet music, and equipment necessary for music production and performance. Furthermore, the program supports music therapy programs and the sponsorship of visiting professionals. Organizations may apply for multiple grants within a semester, with a cap of $500 per grant.
