Overview

The grant program is designed to support significant causes aligned with its broader mission to positively impact the state of Georgia. Key areas of focus for these grants include:

  1. emPowering Environment: Efforts aimed at protecting the environment and natural resources of Georgia. Initiatives include conservation, restoration, and raising awareness to ensure a prosperous state for future generations.

  2. emPowering Education: Committed to enhancing educational opportunities through investments in educational programs, schools, scholarships, and training for educators, with a keen focus on STEM subjects to help students build promising futures.

  3. emPowering Communities: Dedicated to strengthening the community bonds within Georgia, enhancing the state's quality of life, and fostering a bright future through collaboration with community leaders and organizations.

Grant requests are evaluated with a tiered approach: amounts of $25,000 or below are considered on an ongoing basis, while requests exceeding that amount require foundation board approval, which convenes tri-annually in May, August, and December. Note, this program operates on an invitation-only basis for grant requests.
