Janssen's grant program aims to improve patient access to treatment and services, advance health equity, and strengthen frontline health workforces within their six key therapeutic areas. Specifically, the program supports disease awareness, patient empowerment and advocacy, linkages to care, and health system improvement with measurable outcomes. For Oncology, the grant focuses on various disease areas including Amyloidosis, Leukemia & Lymphoma, Lung Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Multiple Myeloma, Liposarcoma or Leiomyosarcoma, and Urothelial/Bladder Cancer. Areas of interest include education for patients and caregivers, family/caregiver support, efforts to empower patients and caregivers, tools for therapy assistance, professional and caregiver skill-building, addressing healthcare disparities, addressing work and functionality issues due to illness, direct patient services, disease screenings, outreach, and advocacy for better access to care.
