The mission of the Kaiser Permanente Hawaii Region Community Grants Program is to improve the health of communities across Hawaii. This is accomplished through funding initiatives that enhance wellness, improve access to quality healthcare, and support education in medical and health policy fields.

The Washington Region - Community Health Grant aims to address community-specific health needs by conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment every 3 years. This strategic evaluation guides Kaiser Permanente's community investments towards equitable and sustainable changes, enhancing relationships with community organizations. Focus areas include access to health care, mental and behavioral health, housing, dismantling structural racism, income and employment, and food security. This grant program emphasizes collaborative efforts to improve overall community health, currently available by invitation only.
