The mission of the Kaiser Permanente Hawaii Region Community Grants Program is to improve the health of communities across Hawaii. This is accomplished through funding initiatives that enhance wellness, improve access to quality healthcare, and support education in medical and health policy fields.

Kaiser Permanente's sponsorship program in the Washington Region supports community events and activities that align with its mission and the focus areas identified in the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). The program evaluates sponsorship proposals based on their ability to create long-term value, reach and build sustainable relationships with the communities Kaiser serves, provide positive exposure for the brand, support Kaiser's mission and business priorities, engage employees, and promote equity, inclusion, diversity, and accessibility in the communities served.

Religious activities aimed at furthering religious doctrine
Partisan political activities, candidates, or organizations
Personal appeals for funding individual medical care, insurance, scholarships, tuition, educational expenses, or conference registration
Organizations that received funding for a sponsorship within the calendar year.
