Overview

The Spark Grant program by Madison County Community Foundation encourages collaborative efforts to address core community issues in Madison County. It focuses on projects or programs that are innovative, transformational, or impactful in the areas of Arts and Culture, Education, Health and Human Services, and Thriving Community (including animal welfare, recreation, and parks). In 2024, the Foundation will award four grants of $25,000 each. Successful proposals will be proactive, solution-oriented, and enhance cooperation among multiple community organizations. The program welcomes various approaches to tackle community issues, such as direct services, advocacy, and community organizing, encouraging applications based on collaboration. To be considered for a grant, organizations must incorporate diversity and inclusion into their mission and operations, ensuring no exclusion based on discriminatory reasons.
