Bloch Family Foundation Grant

The Marion and Henry Bloch Family Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people in greater Kansas City. Through both responsive and strategic philanthropy, it supports a broad range of organizations aiming at helping the city's most vulnerable residents and fostering significant, long-term improvements within local communities.

Organizations are encouraged to preliminarily submit their ideas via a questionnaire for potential funding eligibility. After an evaluation period, selected organizations may be invited to submit a full grant application, although this invitation does not guarantee funding approval.

General organizational operating expenses and ongoing programs
Sponsorships or special events (e.g., galas, conferences, luncheons)

Single-disease causes
Animal-related causes
Sports-related causes
Political activities
Publications
Historic preservation

Submission

Review Criteria

In recognition of the founders' enduring dedication to particular institutions, priority is extended to the following organizations, deemed Legacy Organizations by the Foundation: the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and the Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City (Plaza location).
