The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation's mission is to help ensure that Montana's land and water resources provide benefits for present and future generations.
The Education Mini-Grant program is designed to support conservation districts in carrying out conservation and natural resource education projects that are smaller in scope and may not be part of their annual work plan. These grants aim to address specific audiences and/or topics, making it possible to focus on unique educational needs and opportunities within communities. Eligible projects under this program include organizing and attending workshops, school field trips, adult or youth programs, promoting educational opportunities, developing community resources, and working with schools or groups to enhance natural resource education.
