    The mission of the Nebraska Arts Council is to promote, cultivate, and sustain the arts for the people of Nebraska. The Council endeavors to build creative leadership in the arts, forge partnerships to expand arts opportunities, cultivate resources needed to sustain the arts, establish the arts as fundamental to education and lifelong learning, use the arts as a catalyst for understanding among cultures, and advocate for increased awareness and access to the arts.

    Overview

    The Arts Accessibility Grant for Improvement Projects by the Nebraska Arts Council offers non-matching funds to enhance access to arts organizations' programs or facilities for persons with disabilities beyond ADA requirements. The grant aims to support projects that increase organizational accessibility. Organizations interested must submit a Letter of Intent including a project description, its alignment with accessibility goals, and a budget estimate. Approved LOIs will be invited to apply, with applications due pre-project.
