Overview

The Bunbury Fund offers capacity-building grants with a keen focus on several key areas to assist nonprofit organizations in reaching new levels of operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturity. These areas include strengthening board governance, succession planning, developing strategic partnerships, strategic and scenario planning, systems upgrades for better service delivery and measurement, practices supporting racial equity and inclusion, the strategic needs of startups and newly launched initiatives, strengthening Human Resources systems, and improving technology communications. Additionally, the Fund provides multi-year grants up to $150,000 for projects that develop organizational effectiveness over up to three years, and planning grants up to $10,000 to help organizations evaluate the resources needed for comprehensive capacity-building projects. All grants come with a 15% overhead based on the awarded amount.
