TCA Texas Arts Respond Performance Support

From Texas Commission On The Arts

To advance our state economically and culturally by investing in a creative Texas

Type of Support

Overview

The Arts Respond Performance Support grant aims to advance the creative economy of Texas by funding arts activities. Specifically, it supports performances by outstanding Texas-based companies and artists within local communities, including schools, libraries, and nonprofit organizations. This is facilitated through providing professional artist fees for hiring an artist from the TCA Touring Roster to conduct a performance or workshop. The program promotes accessibility to quality performances statewide, encouraging artists with a history of touring to apply for inclusion on the Texas Touring Roster. The Arts Respond Performance Support is a quarterly grant that helps cover artistic fees for one or more approved companies or artists from the roster, requiring applications to be submitted in advance of the performance by the designated quarterly deadlines.
