Type of Support

Overview

CHS offers grants through its CHS Community Investment and CHS Seeds for Stewardship programs to support projects that aim to strengthen rural communities, enhance agricultural education, and promote safety. The CHS Seeds for Stewardship program, in particular, provides matching funds for local projects initiated by cooperatives, encouraging them to contribute to the development and well-being of their communities. This program supports a wide range of projects, from ag education to safety initiatives, with matching funds up to $5,000. Cooperatives are eligible to receive up to $10,000 in matching funds annually and can apply for up to two grants per year to multiply their impact on local communities. This initiative underscores CHS’s dedication to fostering a strong future for rural America by leveraging the cooperative spirit to address local needs.
