The Women In Need of Support (WINS) Fund is designed to provide resources to nonprofits that help women achieve their educational and training goals, improving their situations and lives. While focusing primarily on education and training, the grants also support women experiencing crisis or chaos. The program seeks to foster innovative ideas, encourage diverse approaches to single issues, and build coalitions to address these challenges.
Exclusion Criteria: The Community Foundation of Henderson County refrains from allocating funds to initiatives such as the development of for-profit businesses, acquisitions of private lands or homes. Additionally, CFHC's grant programs exclude individual recipients, with the exception of those receiving academic scholarships.
