Type of Support

Overview

The Community Opportunity Fund by the Community Foundation focuses on three strategic investment areas: Opportunity, Resilience, and Belonging. It aims to support transformative projects that address root causes of significant challenges within these areas through collaborative efforts. Initiatives that work towards systemic changes, engage communities deeply, insist on continuous learning, center on human experiences, and foster collaboration are prioritized. This approach seeks to create a thriving community by recognizing our interdependence and ensuring the well-being of all community members and the environment. The grant program envisions using a cohort model to further these goals, potentially offering up to 5 years of funding, with awards up to $100,000 per year.
