The mission of the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation is to enhance the quality of life of youth in the City of Arlington by funding programs and facilities related to football and athletics, health and wellness, education, and the arts through matching grants. This mission is aimed at supporting Arlington’s youth by ensuring they have access to quality athletic, educational, and health programs.
The Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation has committed $16.5 million over 33 years to support organizations that benefit the youth of Arlington, Texas. With a special focus on football and athletics, health and wellness, education, and the arts, the foundation provides project and general support grants to IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Arlington’s youth. These organizations must demonstrate their ability to match the grant funds they receive. Furthermore, the foundation contributed significantly to the establishment of the Gene and Jerry Jones Family North Texas Youth Education Town at The Salvation Army in Arlington, which offers a wide range of services including education, athletics, arts programs, and care during after-school and summer for Arlington’s youth and their families.
