Hillman Family Foundations is the administrative and program office for the 18 foundations associated with the Hillman family.
The Mary Hillman Jennings Foundation's grant program is dedicated to improving the quality of life in southwestern Pennsylvania, particularly for those historically marginalized or left out of opportunities. The foundation’s grantmaking concentrates on various areas including community development, health, education, human services, the arts, and the environment. Prioritization is given to services for at-risk children and youth, homeless individuals, immigrants and refugees, low-income workers, mothers and children, people struggling with addiction and recovery, individuals re-entering the community post-incarceration, and victims of violence. The foundation seeks to increase opportunities and promote the economic, social, and emotional welfare of underserved populations through direct services and strategic priorities focused on meaningful, community-based support and development.
