JEWISHcolorado aims to sustain, steward, and strengthen the Jewish community in Colorado, Israel, and the world. They believe in the inextricable link among Jews everywhere, the importance of acts of loving kindness, and the transmission of Jewish values across generations. They support this mission through funding over 100 community organizations.
The Programs with Impact & Need (PIN) Grants by JEWISHcolorado support over 30 Jewish nonprofits and schools annually. These grants fund a wide range of operations including nonprofit program operations, outreach and engagement activities, social justice endeavors, advocacy and educational efforts, human service and mental health projects, and Jewish day schools. The aim is to fund projects with a demonstrable, unmet need and growing interest. Grant proposals are evaluated based on their alignment with JEWISHcolorado’s mission and the existence of a funding gap. The average grant awarded is $20,000.
