The Olive Tree Foundation awards grants to Canadian charities. It aims to support community-level initiatives across a broad spectrum of areas including social, health and community services; education; policy development; and arts and culture, with the purpose of enriching and benefiting communities throughout Canada.
The Olive Tree Foundation's grants program is designed to encourage and support Canadian community-based groups working within a diverse range of sectors. The grant aims to fund projects within social, health, and community services; education and library services; policy institutes and think tanks; as well as arts, culture, and heritage. The Foundation is especially interested in supporting initiatives focused on anti-racism/Islamophobia, Indigenous issues, interfaith dialogue, climate action, and youth engagement for the year 2024. The amount awarded for each grant is determined by the Foundation's Board of Directors and Grants Committee, based on the funds available and the assessed value of the proposed initiative to the community.
