The Backyard Giving Grants program by CHS focuses on empowering organizations near its headquarters with up to $5,000 in funding. These grants are aimed at hosting community events, imparting agricultural knowledge to the youth, and ensuring access to nutritious food and secure housing for residents of the Twin Cities. Review Criteria

Preference will be granted to initiatives that facilitate access to nutritious and economically accessible food, secure and reliable accommodation, programs aiming to enlighten young individuals on farming practices, or events aimed at fostering community unity.
