The Office Community Affairs (OCA) informs, engages and connects the Mayor and the city with civic, community, arts, faith-based, human service, volunteer and other non-profit organizations to raise awareness of city priorities, programs and services and to create meaningful partnerships.
The Families, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board grant aims to provide financial support, up to $1,500, for local nonprofit organizations planning to hold events within city limits. It focuses on encouraging local events that promote diverse cultures, good health, social awareness, and the strengthening of communities.
