Overview

The A Road Together (ART) Grant program targets small to mid-sized arts and culture organizations in Chicago with annual operating budgets up to $1 million. It emphasizes supporting entities that have a strong commitment to equity and inclusivity towards historically underserved communities. ART offers multi-year general operating grants through a participatory grantmaking process and single-year general operating grants. These grants are flexible and can be used for a wide range of organizational needs including programming, capacity building, and staffing. 1-Year ART Grants are between $10,000 and $50,000, while 3-Year ART Grants offer $25,000 to $100,000 per year, totaling $75,000 to $300,000 over three years.
