The mission of the funder is to conserve and restore ecosystems, ensuring plant and wildlife can sustain and thrive; preserve historical landmarks to connect the past with the present and future; support music and visual arts for expression and cultural awareness; protect and conserve plants and wildlife, especially endangered species; and conserve land for future generations to enjoy. They achieve this by funding projects and programs in these specific areas, working with community-based organizations that share their goals.
The Supplemental Grant program supports community-based organizations with projects that do not require the resources of a Standard Grant. Since 2006, the program has contributed to successful fundraising events, provided educational opportunities for students, and facilitated the implementation of various projects within specific funding areas: Ecosystem Conservation, Historical Landmark Restoration, Music & Visual Arts, Plant & Wildlife Protection, and Land Conservation. These grants help enhance habitats, restore and preserve historically significant sites, promote arts communities, and conserve open spaces and endangered species by funding organizations committed to these causes.
