The Oishei Foundation has historically supported a wide range of organizations and individuals working towards the betterment of the community. Recently, they have pivoted their focus towards addressing the root causes of racial inequity, specifically aiming at the upliftment of Black communities on Buffalo’s East Side. This emphasis on racial equity includes actively fighting against racism and systemic barriers that affect Black and other residents of color in the region, building upon the strengths and opportunities within these communities, ensuring trustworthiness through clear, accountable actions, and fostering collaborative partnerships. They are committed to making a meaningful difference by investing in the community's capacity to evolve positively.
