Edmondson Foundation Grants

The Joseph Henry Edmondson Foundation focuses on supporting nonprofit organizations within the Pikes Peak Region to promote youth organizations, animal welfare, the arts, health and human services, community building, education, and the environment.

Type of Support

Overview

The grant program prioritizes organizations that have previously received funding from the Foundation, primarily serving the Pikes Peak Region, including Colorado Springs. While it has occasionally supported projects outside this geographic focus under special circumstances, the main goal is to back local nonprofits. Funding can be allocated for a variety of needs including general operations, specific projects, programs, capital needs, and capacity building efforts. However, the Foundation makes it clear that it shouldn't be seen as a single or continuous source of funding for operational or program expenses. Supported areas include youth organizations, animal welfare, arts, health and human services, community building, education, and the environment.
